Summer Vacation in the Zillertal

Zillertal Arena

Spruce Tree Castle

The enchanting Spruce Tree Castle sits enthroned high above Zell am Ziller and will whisk you and your children away on a magical journey into the realm of fantasy. The 5,000 m² area can be comfortably reached on the Rosenalm lift. Four magnificent towers rise up into the sky and set the stage for many exciting adventures. In the fresh mountain air, your little ones can explore a treetop trail, adventure playground, and water play area

In the summer months, the Rosenalm reservoir transforms into a ruggedly romantic spruce lake, where floating docks, a boat rental, pixy cove (shallow area) for the little ones, dam crest path, and floating island promise thrilling experiences in the middle of the Zillertal Alps. The idyllic path from the lake to the Spruce Tree Castle and back to the summit station is accessible by children's stroller.
