Zillertal Arena
Awaiting you in the Zillertal's largest ski area are 143 km of perfectly prepared slopes and 52 state-of-the-art lifts. Only 2 minutes from your apartment, the free ski bus will take you to the valley stations of the Rosenalm and Karspitz lifts. From there, you can comfortably soar up to pure skiing fun on the gondola. From Zell am Ziller via Gerlos, you can reach the state of Salzburg and the Königsleiten and Krimml-Hochkrimml ski areas.
The Zillertal Arena is as well-known for its sunny ski runs, guaranteed snow, and family friendliness as for its numerous fun & action offers. On the "HöhenFresser-Tour", Austria's longest valley run, you can conquer 1,930 vertical meters over a length of 10 km.
Skiing in summer
Are you already ready for a skiing adventure and don't want to wait for next winter? No problem! Only 26 km away are the majestic ice giants on the Hintertux Glacier - the only year-round ski area in Austria.
Hainzenberg toboggan run
What would a winter vacation be without a fun toboggan ride? On the Zillertal's longest toboggan run with a length of 7 km, you can experience unforgettable moments with the whole family. The Gerlosstein lift will take you to the start at an elevation of 1,650 m, where you can dash back down into the valley on your toboggan.
Attention all night owls! The toboggan run is floodlit until 1 am. You can also enjoy a pleasant stop for refreshments in one of the cozy, rustic huts!
Snow tubing
Are you ready for a new adventure? With this form of racing snow enjoyment, you can slide down specially prepared lanes on special rubber inner tubes. The tubing lift will take you back to the start. You can use the tubing lifts for free!
Cross-country skiing
With cross-country skiing, you can strengthen your vitality and endurance and glide on 2 skis through the splendid winter wonderland. Awaiting you in your holiday resort of Zell am Zillertal is a network of 6 cross-country trails with a total of 16 km for skating and classic cross-country skiing. Access to the nearest cross-country trail is only 2 minutes from Appart Schneeberger.
